The Q2 2007 Bellwether Report, published on Monday 16 July, claims that “business confidence is growing” and that business budgets have expanded to their greatest extent since 2004. Media marketing budgets have seen their strongest increases in seven years. Most increases are being directed at Internet media, but print media is also on the receiving end of the rise in advertising expenditure, especially direct marketing. The Bellwether Reports are available on subscription from bellwether@ntceconomics.com.
